"Snow Day" in Thimphu / ティンプーの"Snow Day"



The first day that is snowing of each year is a holiday in Bhutan. It is called "Snow Day". We feel sad if it is snowing on Saturday, Sunday or government holiday because we loose a holiday. 28th January was the day in 2002 and 1st January was the day in 2003.

　ブータンでは初雪の日は休日となります。"Snow Day"と呼ばれます。土曜日や日曜日、あるいは祝日と重なってしまった場合の振替はありません。残念・・・。 2002年は1月28日が、2003年は1月1日が"Snow Day"でした。
