Passes in Bhutan / ブータンの峠



There are many passes over 3000m in Bhutan. Because Bhutan itself is located in mountains. "La" means pass in Dzongkha, national language in Bhutan. There are Dochu La(3,200m), Pele La(3,300m), Yotong La(3,500m), Thrumshing La(3,700m) and Kori La(2,200m) on national highway from Thimphu to Trashigang. The highest pass on the vehicle road is Chele La(3,800m) between Paro and Haa.

　ブータンには3,000mを超える峠がたくさんあります。ブータン自体が山の中にあるからです。「ラ」はブータンの国語であるゾンカで峠を意味します・。 ティンプーからタシガンへの国道沿いにはドチュラ(3,200m)、ペレラ(3,300m)、ヨートンラ(3,500m)、トムシンラ(3,700m)、コリラ(2,200m)といった峠があります。 自動車道路の通っている峠で最も高いものはパロとハの間にあるチェレラ(3,800m)です。
